Education Continuity Assistance Program (ECAP)
ECAP, by Manal Foundation, empowers underprivileged yet ambitious students with resources and support for academic success. With a 30-year legacy, it fosters opportunity and builds brighter futures across India.
The Education Continuity Assistance Program (ECAP) is designed to empower underprivileged students with academic excellence and ambition, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to thrive in their educational journeys. This initiative, which focuses on creating a ripple effect of opportunity and empowerment, is rooted in a legacy of over 30 years of supporting students across India. Now, through the Manal Foundation, ECAP transforms this vision into a structured program aimed at building brighter futures.
Launched to address barriers to education, ECAP offers scholarships to students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, with a particular emphasis on inclusion and promoting gender equity. In 2025, the program aims to support 1,000 beneficiaries, 500 renewed scholarships and 500 new applications, with a target gender ratio of 60% female and 40% male. The program places a special focus on undergraduate education, particularly in STEM fields, to prepare students for the demands of an ever-evolving job market.
ECAP's impact goes beyond financial aid:
Students are empowered to pursue their aspirations with confidence, fostering a generation equipped with the skills and knowledge to drive change in their communities.
The ecosystem of partners ensures due diligence, creating a robust and transparent system that prioritizes fairness and accessibility.
Women’s education receives special focus, breaking cycles of inequality and creating ripple effects of progress for families and communities.
