Senthil Kumar MK
Director
Senthil Kumar is a seasoned leader with over 25 years of experience in managing and strategizing for non-profit organizations. As the Director of Manal Foundation, he is instrumental in driving the Foundation’s vision and mission to support students through merit-based sponsorships and focus on career guidance, employability, future ready skills, and vocational training programs.
Senthil's leadership and expertise help steer the Foundation towards impactful and sustainable social change. His strategic vision ensures that all operations align with the Foundation's goals while maintaining a strong focus on innovation and community development.
Outside of his professional role, Senthil is passionate about fostering young talent and enjoys mentoring aspiring social sector leaders.
K.G. Umesh
Director
K.G. Umesh is a postgraduate in Human Resources Management from the School of Social Work, Mangalore. He also completed the Executive General Management Program (EGMP) at IIM Bangalore in 2013 and is a Coaching Certified Professional (CCP).
With 38 years of experience in the field of Human Resources, Umesh has served in various capacities at leading organizations, including Grasim Industries, Cipla, AstraZeneca, and BPL Limited, before joining Himalaya Wellness Company in 2000. He is currently the Director of Human Resources at Himalaya Wellness Company, India, based in Bengaluru.
Lubna Manal
Director
Lubna Manal holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Rice University, Houston, USA. She previously worked as a Delivery Group Manager at Hewitt Associates before joining Himalaya Wellness Company in 2008.
With three decades of experience, Lubna currently serves as the Family Representative for India, acting as a liaison between the Manal family and the professional establishment.
Her role includes visiting retail stores, modern trade and general trade outlets, and manufacturing locations across India.

Ayaz assesses scholarship applications, leads outreach efforts, and fosters community engagement. Dedicated to promoting education and youth empowerment, he enjoys reading poetry in his free time.
Kareemunnisa Koti
Manager – Grants, Scholarships & Community Outreach
Kareemunnisa oversees scholarships, application processing, and community engagement, ensuring students receive the support they need. Passionate about education, she also enjoys counseling, cooking, and traveling.
Malavika R
Associate – Communications
Malavika, with 3+ years in the social sector, manages communications at Manal Foundation. Passionate about visual storytelling, she enhances outreach and engagement. She loves building Legos and advocates for animal welfare.
Mizbah Anjum M
Junior Associate – Accounts, Finance & Compliance
Mizbah manages financial records, verifies scholarship applications, and ensures timely processing. She also supports documentation and compliance. In her spare time, she enjoys board games, badminton, and learning about AI.
Pithona Das
Associate – Monitoring, Evaluation, Research, and Learning
Pithona Das oversees the design and implementation of MERL tools, plans, and frameworks. With five years of experience in the social sector, she is passionate about using data to address social challenges and drive impact.
Rahul D Alexander
Manager – Finance & Regulatory Compliance
Rahul brings two decades of expertise in finance and regulatory compliance, ensuring the foundation’s financial integrity and long-term sustainability. He oversees financial operations, compliance, and strategic planning. Outside of work, he enjoys playing badminton.
